Frequently Asked Questions
Q~ Will we get the print right to our photos after our photo shoot or wedding?
A~ Yes, you sure will! Once you receive your images you will also get a full print release along with recommendations to trusted print labs.
Q~ How will we receive our photos?
A~ Once your images are ready, a link to my Dropbox will be sent to you. From this link you can view and download your images. Your images are stored in the Cloud and your online gallery will stay active for 2 years.
Q~ How many photos will we receive from our wedding?
A~ I don’t put a limit on the number of photos I give you. I try my best to give you as many photos as I can, while still remembering quality over quantity and not duplicating images. You may see me take 10 shots the same setting but will only get the best of each shot.
Q~ How do we reserve you for our wedding date?
A~ Meeting in person is ideal to make sure we would be a great fit together before your wedding is booked. If we both feel like we would be a perfect fit for each other a $600.00 deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on my calendar.
Q ~ Do I have to order prints through you?
A~ At this time it is not required but it is encouraged to print though one of my recommended online photo labs. The difference in quality is a big deal when it comes to ordering through a local printer like your local Walgreens or Walmart vs. a professional lab.
Q~ What type of equipment do you use?
A~ I am a Canon lover and use the following – 5D Mark IV and a 5D Mark III, 35mm lens, 70-200mm lens, 16-35mm lens, 50mm lens, 85mm lens, 100mm macro lens and Canon flashes.
Q~ How much does a photo session cost?
A~ All pricing info is found under my investment page.
Q~ Do you offer payment plans?
A~ At this time I do not.
Q~ What type of payment do you accept?
A~ Personal checks, cash or payment through PayPal or Apple Pay.
Q~ Do you photograph same sex weddings and couples?
Q~ Will you travel out of the area for photos?
A~ I am a wanderer and adventure seeker and love to travel. There will be a fee added on to your session for travel distances 50 miles or more from my home. Fee to be determined at time of booking and location destination.
Q~ How long does it take to get my images?
A~ Because I also have a full time career 4-6 weeks for family & portrait sessions, 12 weeks for weddings and special events.
Q~ What is the best time of day for our photo shoot?
A~ I prefer to take photos in the evening during the last 2 hours of daylight. This allows for the best “golden hour” lighting and is much more pleasing when it comes to my style of natural light shooting.
